Midway Connection Announces New Service for Richmond, VA

Midway Connection, the regional airline partner of Midway Airlines, announced today it would expand service at Richmond by beginning non-stop service January 15 , 1997 to Baltimore, MD. The new service begins with three daily flights.

"There is a growing demand for service to the wide geographical area served through the Baltimore International Airport. Our new service will bring added convenience and additional capacity to the growing market."

The new Baltimore schedules have been designed to provide Richmond area travelers convenient morning, afternoon and evening departures.

Richmond flights will be served with 19 passenger Beechcraft 1900 equipment featuring reclining leather seats with seat back tray tables and spacious leg room with underseat storage. Midway Connection and Midway Airlines provide scheduled service to 25 cities in the United States and Mexico.
