Midway Connection, the regional airline partner of MidwayAirlines, announced today it would begin service August 1, 1996 from the Washington Dulles Airport to Richmond, VA and Raleigh-Durham. The Airline will provide three daily flight flights to Richmond continuing on the Raleigh-Durham.
"We are pleased to announce Washington Dulles as a new market for the airline", said Robert Hawkins , Vice President, Marketing and Sales of Midway Connection. "With the addition of Washington Dulles, Midway Connection and Midway Airlines now serve all three Washington area airports."
Keith Meurlin, Dulles Airport Manager said, "This newest regional airline to operate at Washington Dulles will provide a great compliment to air service we now provide to national and international destinations. Midway Connection will provide more choice for area travelers."
The schedules have been designed to provide Northern Virginia area travelers convenient morning, afternoon and evening departures to Richmond and continuing service to Raleigh-Durham. At Midway Airlines Raleigh-Durham Hub, travelers have the choice of convenient direct connections to Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Savannah, Hilton Head, Charleston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Cancun, Mexico.

Service from Washington Dulles will be provided with 19 passenger Beechcraft 1900 equipment featuring reclining leather seats with seat back tray tables and spacious leg room with underseat storage.
With the addition of Washington Dulles, Midway connection and Midway Airlines will be providing scheduled service to over
30 cities throughout the United States and Mexico.
