Midway Connection, the regional airline partner of MidwayAirlines, announced today it would begin non-stop service August 1, 1996 from Greenville-Spartanburg to Nashville and to Columbia. The airline will offer two non-stop flights to each city. The flights to Columbia will continue to Raleigh-Durham.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of these two cities to our existing flights to Raleigh-Durham as a new market", said Robert Hawkins, Vice President, Marketing and Sales of Midway Connection. "Our new service to Nashville will insure Greenville-Spartanburg travelers continue to have the availability of non-stop service to a popular business and leisure destination. The new flight to Columbia provides new air travel options to the State Capitol."

Service from Greenville-Spartanburg to Nashville and Columbia will be provided with 19 passenger Beechcraft 1900
equipment featuring reclining leather seats with seat back tray tables and spacious leg room with underseat storage.
