Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (NASDAQ/NMS:GLUX) reported that at approximately 5:05 p.m. central standard time on
Tuesday, November 19, 1996, a private aircraft collided with Great Lakes Flight #5925/ #5926 while the Great Lakes
aircraft was landing at Quincy, Illinois. The Great Lakes aircraft was a Beech 1900 aircraft which carries up to 19 passengers
and a crew of two pilots. At this time the Company believes ten passengers and two crew members were onboard at the time
of the accident. The cause of the accident is not known at this time. The Company has an unconfirmed report that the two
aircraft collided at the intersection of cross runways. The Company believes that there are no survivors. United Airlines, with
which the Company has a marketing relationship, is offering expertise and assistance. The Company has set up a toll-free
