UNITED EXPRESS ANNOUNCES EXPANDED DENVER SERVICED AT
WILLISTON, ND


Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLUX) announced today the expansion of its United Express service at Williston, ND. Beginning October 1, 1996 three additional round trip flights will be added on weekdays between Williston's Sloulin Field Airport and Denver International Airport, bringing a total of six roundtrip flights to Denver. An expanded weekend schedule is also available.

United Express flights serving Williston are conveniently timed for United Airlines' business customers and leisure travelers making connections at United's Denver hub where United and United Express carriers provide over 400 daily flights serving over 100 cities.
