UNITED EXPRESS ANNOUNCES IMPROVED SERVICE
AT SIOUX FALLS
Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLUX) announced today the enhancement of its United Express service between Sioux Falls, SD and Chicago O'Hare.
Beginning October 1, 1996 United Express will upgrade the aircraft used on it's three direct roundtrip flights to Chicago O'Hare every weekday. All United Express flights between Sioux Falls and Chicago O'Hare will be scheduled in 30 seat EMB-120 Brasilia aircraft. This regional airliner features an expanded cabin-class interior with a flight attendant, inflight beverage service, stand-up headroom and a lavatory. The carrier will also have three weekday roundtrip flights to Denver International Airport. Service to both Denver and Chicago O'Hare compliments existing United Airlines service to both cities.
United Express flights serving Chicago O'Hare are conveniently timed for United Airlines' business customers and leisure
travelers making connections at United's Chicago hub where every business day United and United Express carriers provide
over 540 daily departures. At United's Denver hub, United and United Express carriers provide over 400 daily flights serving
over 100 cities.
