UNITED EXPRESS ADDS SERVICE TO CHICAGO O'HARE FROM DECATUR

Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLUX) announced today an additional fourth roundtrip flight between Decatur Municipal Airport and Chicago O'Hare beginning October 1, 1996. Every business day United Express will offer 4 nonstop roundtrip flights. Additional service will be scheduled on weekends.

United Express flights serving Chicago O'Hare are conveniently timed for United Airlines' business customers and leisure travelers making connections at United's Chicago hub where every business day United and United Express carriers provide over 540 daily departures to over 150 cities worldwide.
