Great Lakes Airlines Introduces New Western Nebraska Regional/William B. Heilig Field Station Manager

CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 12, 2004 � Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX.OB � news) today announced the promotion of Candi Konley to Station Manager at the Scottsbluff/Gering Airport, where she is responsible for customer service and ramp operations.

Candi served most recently as a customer service agent for the company at the Scottsbluff/Gering Airport.  She brings with her five years of previous experience.

�We are pleased to announce Candi as our local representative in Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska�, said Norma Courtney, Director of Stations and Security of Great Lakes.  �We have confidence in her abilities and believe she will handle her new responsibilities well.�

Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 39 airports in ten states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and Raytheon/Beech 1900D Regional Airliners. A total of 186 weekday flights are scheduled at three hubs, with 176 flights at Denver, 4 flights at Minneapolis/St. Paul, and 6 flights at Phoenix. All scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with United Airlines and Frontier Airlines at their Denver hub.
