Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. Expands Codeshare With Frontier Airlines  

CHEYENNE, Wyo., July 10, 2003 � Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. today announced it will add Rapid City, South Dakota and Grand Junction, Colorado service to its codeshare agreement with Denver, Colorado based Frontier Airlines, bringing the total number of codeshare markets between the two airlines to 36.  Service between Denver and Rapid City is scheduled to begin on July 30, and Denver to Grand Junction service will begin August 1. 

The airlines, which initially entered into their codeshare agreement in July 2001, currently operate 34 codeshare markets connecting Great Lakes regional destinations in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming to Frontier�s coast-to-coast destinations.

As of July 10, 2003, Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 41 airports in eleven states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners.  A total of 186 weekday flights are scheduled at three hubs, with 172 flights at Denver, 8 flights at Minneapolis/St. Paul, and 6 flights at Phoenix.  All scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with United Airlines and Frontier Airlines.
