 Great Lakes Airlines Begins Service Between Phoenix and Show Low, Arizona.

CHEYENNE, Wyo., April 19, 2005 � Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX.OB � news) today announced new service will commence on May 1, 2005, from Phoenix, Arizona to Show Low, Arizona.

�Great Lakes is pleased to be selected by the USDOT to provide Essential Air Service to Show Low, Arizona,� said Monica Taylor, Director of Sales and Marketing for Great Lakes Airlines.  "This new service to Show Low will connect people to the White Mountain Region in our continued expansion in Arizona."

As of April 3, Great Lakes will provide scheduled passenger service at 36 airports in ten states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and Raytheon/Beech 1900D Regional Airliners. All scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with Frontier Airlines and United Airlines.
