Great Lakes Airlines Introduces New Director of Maintenance

CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 21, 2005 � Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX.OB � news) today announced the appointment of Scott Lewis to the Director of Maintenance position. 

�Scott will be a great addition to this position and I am excited to bring him into this role. His experience made him a perfect fit for this FAA required position.  Scott has done a very good job in bringing the current Maintenance Control department to new levels as times change within our company," said Kurt Franklin, VP of Maintenance.

As of April 3, 2005, Great Lakes will be providing scheduled passenger service at 36 airports in ten states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and Raytheon/Beech 1900D Regional Airliners. All scheduled flights operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with Frontier Airlines and United Airlines at their Denver hub.
