(OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX.OB � news) today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration recently presented AMT awards to Maintenance Department personnel at Corporate Headquarters in Cheyenne, Wyoming. �Great Lakes is proud to announce this honor,� Charles R. Howell IV, CEO of Great Lakes, commented. �We recognize the accomplishments of these professionals and are pleased with the 100% participation.� Brian Richardson, Safety Program Manager from the Denver Flight Standards District Office of the FAA, and Bill O�Brian, National Resource Specialist from the Washington, D.C. Flight Standards Office presented the individual awards. These awards are presented every year to recognize the accomplishment of those individuals who make the extra effort to obtain training related to their field. The training may be company provided training, training provided by other aviation related entities, or college credits. The awards are divided into five levels determined by the amount and type of training. The levels are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, and Diamond. Each award from Bronze to Diamond requires a greater amount of training with the Diamond Award requiring 100 hours of training. The awards presented on Feb. 3rd were for training received in the 2004 calendar year. In addition to the individual awards, the company received a Diamond Award for having 100% of the Maintenance Technicians participate in program. Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 34 airports in 10 states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and Raytheon/Beech 1900D Regional Airliners.
