GREAT LAKES AVIATION TO ADD FOURTH UNITED EXPRESS FLIGHT BETWEEN GRAND ISLAND,
NEBRASKA AND DENVER BEGINNING APRIL 2, 2000.
Spencer, Iowa -- March 3, 2000 -- Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLUX) today announced that beginning April 2, 2000, a fourth weekday United Express flight will be added between Grand Island, Nebraska and Denver International Airport. Service will also be increased on weekends to a total of three round trips on Saturdays and four round trips on Sundays.
The new United Express flight will depart Grand Island at 9:30am daily and the additional return flight to Grand Island will depart Denver at 9:55am and arrive Grand Island at 12:42pm on weekdays and Sundays. In addition, some of the existing flights in each direction have been retimed to offer more convenient travel times for passengers. All flights are timed to make convenient connections with more than 450 nonstop flights scheduled by United Airlines and United Express from Denver to more than 120 Destinations.
