Great Lakes To Add Fifth United Express Flight between Riverton, Wyoming and Denver Beginning April 2, 2000

GREAT LAKES AVIATION TO ADD FIFTH UNITED EXPRESS FLIGHT BETWEEN RIVERTON, WYOMING AND DENVER BEGINNING APRIL 2, 2000.

Spencer, Iowa -- March 6, 2000 -- Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLUX) today announced that beginning April 2, 2000, a fifth weekday United Express flight will be added between Riverton, Wyoming and Denver International Airport.

The new United Express flight will depart Riverton at 4:54pm weekdays and Sundays. The additional return flight to Riverton will depart Denver at 3:17pm and arrive Riverton at 4:38pm weekdays and Sundays. In addition, beginning in June, extra flights will be added on weekends to accommodate groups traveling to and from Riverton for National Outdoor Leadership School activities. All flights are timed to make convenient connections with more than 450 nonstop flights scheduled by United Airlines and United Express from Denver to more than 120 Destinations.
