Great Lakes Airlines to reinstate flights beginning Friday, September 14, 2001

CHEYENNE, Wyo., Sept. 14 -- Great Lakes Airlines plans to reinstate scheduled flights in all Denver and Phoenix markets beginning Friday, September 14, 2001. Flights in Chicago � O�Hare and Minneapolis/St. Paul markets will be reinstated on Sunday, September 16, 2001.

Great Lakes will operate a limited schedule during the initial recovery period expected to last from three to five days in length. However, flights will be operated to and from all communities served from its Denver, Phoenix, Chicago-O�Hare and Minneapolis-St Paul hubs.

Once full operations have been returned, the company�s schedule in non-subsidized essential air service markets will reflect about a 20 to 25 percent reduction from flight schedules in effect prior to the September 11 suspension of service.

Customers traveling on Great Lakes flights are advised to check in as early as possible for their planned flights and to be aware that delays are likely as the nation�s air transportation system recovers.
