FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Dick Fontaine GREAT LAKES AVIATION TO ADD UNITED EXPRESS FLIGHTS BETWEEN CHEYENNE, WYOMING AND DENVER BEGINNING APRIL 2, 2000. Spencer, Iowa -- March 6, 2000 -- Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLUX) today announced that beginning April 2, 2000, two weekday United Express flights will be added between Cheyenne, Wyoming and Denver International Airport. On weekdays a total of eight round trips will be scheduled in the market. On Saturdays five round trips will be offered with seven available on Sundays. The new United Express flight will depart Cheyenne at 7:45am and 10:13am filling gaps in the current schedule pattern. New return flights will depart Denver at 1:00pm and 7:45pm arriving Cheyenne at 1:39pm and 8:24pm respectively. In addition, some of the existing flights in each direction have been retimed to offer more convenient travel times for passengers. All flights are timed to make convenient connections with more than 450 nonstop flights scheduled by United Airlines and United Express from Denver to more than 120 Destinations.
